Site Description

Provides 33 hostel care places (32 places + 1 respite) plus Club Friendship, where elderly people from the community join residents for social activities and fellowship on weekdays.

Services

• Hostel - Low Band Residential Care
  • Provide personal care and assistance with the activities of daily living, such as showering, dressing, bed making etc.All rooms are single and have an en-suite bathroom. Basic furniture is supplied including a bed and residents are encouraged to bring in some personal items, ornaments, pictures, personal bedding etc.
• Meals
  • All meals are taken in the dining room.
• Activities
  • An Occupational Therapist is available one day a week and Occupational Therapy assistants are available every day. There are various activities that the residents can participate in and they are joined by elderly folk from the community in these programmes.
• Other Services
• Physiotherapist - one day a week
• Podiatrist - every 6 weeks
• Hairdresser - every week
• Volunteer Shopper - weekly
