Site Description

Ella Williams - was opened in November 2000. It is a 60 bed intermixed nursing home and hostel care facility which also provides Ageing In Place.

There are three houses that make up this facility:

Murray - High band
Brown  - Low band dementia
Thorpe - Low band

There is an overnight stay room for the use of families and friends.

Services

 

Nursing Home - High Band Residential Care

Provide personal support and nursing care to people with a high level of need.
All residents have their own room and en-suite bathroom. The room contains a bed and is fitted with built in wardrobes and bed side lockers. The resident may bring their own personal items. There is a call bell system in every room.

Dementia Care - Low Band Residential Care

Provide personal support and assistance with the activities of daily living, such as showering, dressing, bed making etc.

All residents have their own room and en-suite bathroom. The room is fitted with built in wardrobes and dressing table. The resident supplies the bed and may bring their own personal items. There is a call bell system in every room. Meals are provided in the communal dining room of Brown House. Extra activties are provided.

Hostel - Low Band Residential Care

Provide personal support and assistance with the activities of daily living, such as showering, dressing, bed making etc.

All residents have their own room and en-suite bathroom. The room is fitted with built in wardrobes and dressing table. Residents supply the bed and may bring their own personal items. There is a call bell system in every room. Residents have a key to their own room and are encouraged to maintain their independence to the fullest extent possible. Meals are provided in the communal dining room of Thorpe House
