Site Description
John Bryant provides 42 hostel dementia specific places places across three houses, each house is home to 14 people, they are named as follows.
Boronia - 14 Dementia Care
Grevillea - 14 Dementia Care
Crowea - 14 Dementia CareServices
Hostel - Low Band Residential Dementia Care with an allowance for Cognitive High Care admissions
Provide personal care and assistance with the activities of daily living, such as showering, dressing, bed making etc.
Meals
There are 14 single rooms in each house with en-suites, built in wardrobes and room for personal items. Each room is fitted with a call bell.All meals are prepared on the premises and served in each of 3 dining rooms.
ActivitiesResidents are encouraged to participate in various activities which are run by the Occupational Therapy Assistants each morning after morning tea. In the afternoon there is afternoon tea followed by various club meetings. Each month there is a bus outing and there are church services weekly covering different denominations on a rotating schedule.
