RoseMount is located north of the river in Dianella. Rose Mount is a resident-funded retirement centre developed and managed by Uniting Church Homes.
The resident purchases a lease for a unit in much the same way as they would purchase any other home. When they move out they sell their lease to a new occupant and UCH retains a small percentage, of the sale price proportional to the length of time the person has been living in the village, for capitol works.
Costs of operating and providing common facilities and services are covered by a fortnightly service fee.
RoseMount offers a wide variety of spacious housing designs from small apartments to larger 3 bedroom villas all set in beautifully landscaped gardens. All are fully self-contained for independence and privacy and are equipped with 24 hour emergency system which is monitored by an external provider after hours.
Services and Amenities
Some of the below are subject to change from time to time depending on the need and may incur a cost to the resident which is also subject to periodic review.
- Midday meals five days per week and evening happy hour/carvery once a week,
- A hairdresser, podiatrist,
- A window cleaner visit twice a year,
- A swimming pool is available during the day for residents and guests
