Site Description
St Andrew's is a 75 bed cluster style residential care facility comprising of five main areas of accommodation, each area is joined by corridors with the Club House in the most central position. Each house is home for 15 people, they are named as follows:

At the front door to each house, you will find a framed 'story' about the naming of each area.
Each building consists of individual bedrooms with ensuite bathroom/toilet, a service kitchen, dining rooms and two lounges.
Services
Nursing Home - High Band Residential Care
In the nursing home the resident is provided with a bed, locker, built in robes and 3 emergency call bells. Sheets, pillows, pillowslips, blankets etc are supplied. Residents may bring their own personal linen, i.e. Doona's, bedspreads, etc, these items and all clothing must be discreetly named prior to being brought into the facility.
As St. Andrew's has now become the residents home, the resident/family members are encouraged to furnish their room with personal items such as a television, radio, ornaments and pictures. The resident will require a chair but this should be in consultation with the Occupational and Physiotherapist so the residents needs are met.
Dementia - Low Band Residential Care
The family is encouraged to furnish the room as their own home with personal items such as a bed, easy chair, cabinet, television, radio, telephone, pictures and paintings. The resident is also encouraged to bring their own bedding such as doonas, blankets, bedspread and pillows, all these items as well as clothing must be marked.
The rooms have built in robes and 3 emergency call bells situated for easy use.
Hostel - Low Band Residential
- Each resident is encouraged to make their own room like home and furnish it with personal items eg. your bed, easy chair, china cabinet, television, radio, telephone, pictures and paintings.
- Sheets, towels and pillowslips are provided but each resident should bring a doona, bedspread and blankets as well as pilows.
- In each room there are built in robes and 3 emergency call bells

- Shop - There is a small shop located in the foyer.
Chaplaincy
An Ecumenical Church service is held weekly including the celebration of communion once a month. Specifically designed services are held fortnightly for residents in the in the dementia specific houses.
Pastoral Care is offered by the Chaplain to all residents.
Roman Catholic Communion and pastoral care is offered on a weekly basis to Catholic residents
