Lifestyle and leisure await new Rowethorpe residents

One of WA’s largest aged care providers – Uniting Church Homes – known as
UCH – is releasing brand new lifestyle apartments at its Rowethorpe campus in Bentley The Centenary Apartments form part of a $45 million dollar expansion and upgrade program by UCH and the latest release is now available for sale at $400,000.

The latest apartments feature two bedrooms plus a study, a kitchen with quality appliances, bathroom, laundry and a balcony on upper floors or a terrace garden on the lower apartments
Deb Patterson, Executive Manager of Operations at Rowethorpe, says the apartments are designed to offer residents a very pleasant living environment, with additional quality lifestyle facilities conveniently located on the Rowethorpe campus.

“UCH is focused on providing a community environment, but one with additional support.
“We have additional health and lifestyle services available on campus, including a Medical Centre and community nurse, a pharmacy and physiotherapy services, so residents have total convenience on their doorstep.”

Eight apartments have already been occupied since the completion of the initial stages of the three-part multimillion dollar development first released in 2008.

The apartments have a usable floor space of more than 91 sqm and include reverse cycle air conditioning, security screens and door locks, built in wardrobes, full painting, floor coverings, an electric oven and hot plate with a range hood, and a carport. They also have ageing-in-place features plus emergency call system for additional safety and peace of mind.

Amenities within the Rowethorpe village campus include a café and integrated resident community centre.

Stage one of the expansion was completed last year and consisted of four apartments, with a further four villas constructed as part of stage two, prior to this latest third stage being completed.

“Both stage one and stage two have proven extremely popular and have been eagerly sought after, and we are expecting the remaining few apartments in this latest release to be quickly snapped up,” Ms Patterson added.

Rowethorpe is set amongst 13 hectares of garden and is home to more than 450 residents.

The apartments, located at Bentley, are open for viewing on Sunday 1 November at 10.30–11.30 a.m. or by special appointment during business. For further information contact: Sam on 636309 or Debra on 6363 6362.
